Drained
Just when we think the pieces of our lives are complete, there will be at least one component that will fall out. Its the cycle of life for without problems what is life?
It keeps us going.
One after another.
You fix it, you ruin another.
If everything goes your way, it is only because you are dead.

13th of October's really a long time ago.
when i was 19, still the angsty young man serving his national service. things have changed now and i suppose i really am ready to begin a new chapter in creativity. it suffered a serious burn out for the past few jaded, dementia filled years, but im back for now.
nowadays i add something special called 'music' to my poetry. yes. in other words, lyrics. and this would perhaps, hopefully, be the first of many:
Parodied
Go on, cut, repeat. It rings in our heads
The moment of deceit, I kinda feel the beat.
As everything unwinds and slowly fades,
I see it for myself, before me
As I learn to relearn and wind the past (to unwind).
Play it once, show it to me; my life and yours.
(We’re not living in circles)
Once again, once again, your life and mine!
(We’re not living in circles)
Cuz in the end you’re nothing more (no more).
Cuz in the end I’m nothing more (no more).
Take stage, act 1. Don’t forget me too,
View it slow, seep it in a whole
Three tries for five scenes without a clue
If only life’s that way for all.
As I learn to unwind and relearn to wind (the past)
Play it once, show it to me; my life and yours.
(We’re not living in circles)
Once again, once again, your life and mine!
(We’re not living in circles)
Cuz in the end you’re nothing more (no more).
Cuz in the end I’m nothing more (no more).

as for what the song means, to simply put it this way: imagine you died and you have an opportunity to look at your life being played out in the form of theatre. a parody of sorts, and there you are wishing it could have been more.
