chances
chances are that you might be right about me,
that ive been wrong all these while, so leave it be.
ive had enough of hiding myself, in this sappy shell,
i'd be damned if i stay like this, condemned in hell,
honesty to reduce hypocrisy does it ring a bell?
all i want is an opportunity to be seen differently,
in your eyes. for once theres something called 'maybe'.
cant stand being viewed the same by everybody,
overtaken by suicial tendencies, i succumb to it slowly.

goblins and gargoyles
mythical creatures, thats what they are. if you were to ever personify happiness, i would choose those creatures to represent it. why? because these creatures often form the eye-candy of old monuments and buildings, overlooking the city or town from atop. just like how happiness is like. it overlooks us, but is nothing more than just mere decorations for the soul. its there to beautify ones innerself, just like how these creatures beautify old buildings in old towns (heritage? cuz' the value of one is in his innerself, just like how the sentimental value of an old building is in its history).
its rather mythical, the existence of happiness. you cannot really tell if it really exists in you or not. this is probably due to:
1) you trying to tell yourself that you're happy when you're not
2) is happiness just merely a lack of sadness?
i dont know.. maybe we'll find the answers someday. i hope we do. im no neurosurgeon, but this is just my perspective, be it shallow or not.
